A children’s tale of culture and originality!

What if you were invited to dance for the President? You’d want it to be the best dance ever! Come meet young Yelia who visits her grandmother in Cuba to add a salsa flavor to her own hip-hop style! The audience gets to dance along in this dynamic participation play where one actress creates three generations of lively women. Journey with Yelia as she discovers the fun of her multi-cultural heritage.

HAVANA HOP is thrilled to be a 2016 showcase performer at the International  Performing Arts for Youth in Montreal Canada! HAVANA HOP! at Cleveland’s Playhouse Square was a huge success! More than 7,000 attended the newly developed piece over a ten show week. Check out the highlight reel (coming soon) and pictures below.

Havana Hop is Paige’s first solo show that was commissioned by the Wolf Trap Institute in 2008. Since 2008, Paige has performed the show throughout the country including performances in DC, Los Angeles, Dallas, Philadephia and most recently…in Singapore!
